Sledding With Santa Is A Hit In Lake Havasu

The Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department hosted “Sledding with Santa” Friday night.

Since snow is rare in this desert town, it was manufactured from ice blocks and blown onto a grass hill near the Tinnell Memorial Sports Park.

Santa and the Grinch were on hand for picture taking with children as well as taking thier turn sliding down the hill.

Parks and Recreation staff helped children make arts and crafts as well.
