Sock Hop Fun Featured At K-12 Appreciation Dinner

The K-12 Foundation honored local Lake Havasu Unified School District teachers with a dinner Thursday evening at the London Bridge Resort Convention Center.

Every teacher received a ticket at the door to win a prize and they came dressed up in their 1950’s best for the Sock Hop-themed dinner.

“It’s a special night because we’re celebrating all of the educators in the district. Any educator that is a part of the K12 Foundation is invited to come and just be celebrated for being amazing,” said Amy Barney, District Liason.

A photo booth was also available for the teachers with more than 50 prizes donated to the event from local businesses.
