Soroptimist International of Lake Havasu City is now taking applications for its Live Your Dream Education and Training Award.

This award was established to assist women with primary financial responsibility for their families to obtain the skills-training and education necessary to improve their employment status and standard of living for themselves and their family.

Those eligible to apply for the $2,000 grant are women with primary financial responsibility for themselves and their dependents and are attending an undergraduate degree program or a vocational skills training program and have financial need.
