Spooky Aberrations Take Over Bridgewater Channel

It got real witchy when more than 65 people paddle boarded and kayaked their way through the Bridgewater Channel Saturday afternoon. The participants dressed as witches as they made their way from Rotary Park and London Bridge Beach to the London Bridge.

The event, organized by Sara Tinkle Arnold, debuted last year.

“I posted a picture on Orchids and Onions and there was such a  huge response and many people wanted to join,” Arnold said.

Arnold created a Facebook group – Paddle Boarding Lake Havasu – to connect enthusiasts.

“I  picked the date and shared the info with everyone else,” Arnold said.

The event Saturday was a warmup for Halloween in Lake Havasu City. Visit the Facebook group for more information.
