Twice a year, every year, the staff of the London Bridge Resort comes together to honor fallen veterans by placing floral arrangements and wreaths on their graves in Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens cemetery.

This year is no different.

Thursday, the LBR staff gathered to place the wreaths as they always do in May for the past 18 years.

“It has been my pleasure to lead the effort with my team at London Bridge Resort for the past 18 years. Our veterans deserve our utmost respect, and this is one small way to show our appreciation,” said London Bridge Resort owner Tom Flatley.

Resort general manager Cal Sheehy said, “London Bridge Resort’s team looks forward to this event each year. Every year in May, we place floral arrangements on our veterans’ graves and during the Christmas holiday, we place live evergreen wreaths by each veteran’s grave.

“We are proud to be a part of this tribute,” he said.

Here are some photos of Thursday’s event.
