The Cancer Assocation of Havasu hosted a special presentation Thursday evening at Shugrue’s Bridgeview Room.
The Cancer Association board met with local doctors and their office assistants to inform them of all of the ways the association’s programs help Havasu locals fighting cancer.
The Cancer Association of Havasu which is under the umbrella of the Havasu Community Health Foundation, wanted to build more relationships with the medical community by hosting the presentation.
Some of these programs provided by the association include cancer screenings, mammograms, and assistance with transportation to and from treatment appointments.
The event was sponosred by Mohave Plumbing, Ideal Pools and Campbell Cove 1-Stop.
