Saturday’s event coverage sponsored by River Cities United Way.
One iconic image of the Old West made its annual stop in Lake Havasu City this weekend when the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association rodeo came to town. And as usual, Little Delbert Days made sure there was plenty of fun for the whole family.
Little Delbert days kicked off Saturday morning with mutton bustin’ and calf riding at the SARA Park Rodeo Grounds. Children could feed the goats in the petting zoo, jump in the bounce houses and climb the big dirt hill.
The GCPRA then filled the afternoon, opening with Rodeo Queens riding into the arena with American and Arizona flags.
Fans cheered for saddle bronc riders, team ropers, lady’s breakaway and bull riders.
The rodeo and Delbert Days continues today from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
