The Cancer Association of Havasu hosted two events over the weekend in Lake Havasu to support those with breast cancer.
Friday evening, participants gathered at Michael Alan Furniture Store for “Sleepless in Havasu.”

Participants stayed up all night to raise money for the cause and decorated beds with TV themes. They attended the movie showing of “Grease,” ate food donated by local restaurants, drank coffee, played games, and got B12 shots that were donated by Destination Hydration.
Saturday morning, the Havasu Community Health Foundation then hosted their annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.
The walk began at London Bridge Beach stage and continued on through the Bridgewater Channel with pink T-shirts as far as the eye could see.
The amount raised from the event was not available at press time.
