Lake Havasu City Commorates 9/11 With A Remembrance Ceremony

Lake Havasu City residents and community leaders joined together at London Bridge Beach to remember those fallen on 9/11.

Sisto Sandoval opened the ceremony with a prayer over our nation and our community. Following the prayer, the Lake Havasu Marine Corps League, LHFD, and LHPD presented the colors, following the flag raising of the American flag by Rosamond Naylor and the POW/MIA flag by Kenny Gleason.

Lake Havasu Military Moms led the audience in the Pledge of Alligence and guest speakers were Mayor Cal Sheehy and Judge Mitchell Kalauli.

Earlier in the morning, firefighters from Lake Havasu Fire Department and Desert Hills Fire Department ran up and down the London Bridge stairs to remember those fallen on 9/11.
