The 249th birthday of the Marine Corps League was celebrated Sunday evening at the 33rd Annual Detachment 757 Marine Corps Ball in Lake Havasu City.
The night included honoring Gene Burns, 95, the oldest Marine in the room, and Steven Nagle, 31, as the youngest.
Pamala Harkness performed the National Anthem and the guest speaker was Master Gunnery Sergeant Ted Swieczkowski.
