Meals On Wheels Gets Big Boost At Senior Center Faire

Seventy-five vendors were on hand Saturday at the Mohave County Senior Center in Lake Havasu City for the October Vendor and Craft Faire. The money raised from the vendor booths benefits Meals On Wheels.

Meals on Wheels in a national program that strives to ensure seniors receive nutritional meals and maintain human contact. Senior isolation and hunger are among the main concerns of the program that serves seniors through more than 5,000 community-based agencies.

    Thanks so much for featuring the October Craft and Treasure Faire. The LH Senior Center raised $2,311 for the Meals on Wheels program!
