The Mile Markers Therapy eighth annual Talent Show was a hootin’, hollerin’ good time at SARA Park Rodeo Grounds Thursday evening.

The show celebrated the talents of individuals with developmental disabilities who aren’t afraid to show the world their shine. Around 40 kids performed singing, dancing, karate, tumbling and playing piano.

The event also included a raffle and food stand. All proceeds benefited Mile Markers’ after school and adult day programs.

The show was the first event to mark the three day rodeo-style event, Boot Scootin’ Boogie Days.

Weekend event schedule:

Friday: Boot Scootin’ Boogie Hoedown Dinner and Dance @5:30 p.m.

Saturday: Family Fun Easter Egg Hunt and County Fair @ 10:00 a.m.
