A monsoon storm rolled through Lake Havasu City, Desert Hills and Crystal Beach area Thursday evening. At approximately 8:30pm, the Las Vegas National Service has confirmed the storm produced a microburst with as high as 50-60mph winds that damaged the home of Jeanne Kentch and Bill Gardner. The microburst ripped shingles off of the roof as well as their swamp cooler. Tree limbs were also broken and patio furniture was knocked over.
