The 31st edition of the Run For The Wall rumbled through Arizona Wednesday, passing through the Lake Havasu City area on Interstate 40.
Always an opportunity for area residents to show their patriotism and support American veterans, the RFTW is exciting.

RFTW was founded in 1989 by Vietnam veterans to recognize the sacrifices and contributions made by all U.S. military veterans who have served the nation.
RFTW itineraries posted online outline the mission as one of raising awareness for the 82,128 missing wartime Americans. Among them, with statistics last updated in late February of this year, there are 1,589 still unaccounted for from the Vietnam War.
There are 126 Cold War MIAs mostly in or near China. Another 7,665 American service members remain missing from the Korean War. Additionally, 72,742 are unaccounted for from World War II.
