Spring Break is just around the corner and soon, middle school and high school students will be out of class and ready for vacation. In order to entertain them during the break, the Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department is ready to keep them busy at Teen Break, set for March 20-24.

Teen Break is a week filled with activities, entertainment  for students in middle school and high school during their spring vacation. It is a place teenagers can go for clean and safe fun.

Music, food and plenty of giveaways will be just some of the offerings participants can look forward to again this year.

“We definitely will be bringing back the mud pit activity this year,” said Sarah Ross, Program Coordinator at Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department. “That activity is very popular among the kids.”

The registration price this year will stay at $41 per participant. A free meal is included each day in the registration fee. Daily activities all week run from noon to 5 p.m.

“We are always looking for volunteers but there is a process, so it’s important potential volunteers reach out to us at the office so we can walk them through the online process correctly. We are also always taking gift cards, product donations, sponsorships and monetary donations for Teen Break, ” Ross said.
