With the holidays approaching quickly, some Havasuians have already started to decorate their homes with Christmas cheer.

Because there were so many requests to release the map early in the season last year, RiverScene Magazine would like to get an early start to the Lights of Havasu Map this year.

Today, we will begin taking submissions for those wanting to add their decorated homes to the Lights of Havasu Map. Whether your a home is decorated with one strand of lights, or 50,000, RSM would like to add your home to its online Christmas Lights map.

Please email us at jillian@riverscenemagazine.com and provide the following information and put Lights of Havasu Map in the subject line:

Name

email (email will not be published)

title of decorated home

address

nearest cross street

days/times lights will be on

Each year, more and more residents have collected canned food for the food bank, Salvation Army and for local families in need. More people have handed out candy canes as well. For those who would like the public to know about anything special at their home on certain nights, please indicate that as well.

The map will be released within the first week of December and since RSM is online, locations can be added throughout the month, but please submit lights before Dec. 1.

The Festival of Lights will begin under the London Bridge Nov. 29. For more information on that event, click here.

Share this story with friends and family on social media so they can submit their home on the RSM Lights of Havasu Map.
