Christmas comes alive in Lake Havasu City after the traditional event – the day after Thanksgiving – that marks the beginning of the season when the London Bridge Resort, London Bridge, English Village and the Bridgewater Channel sparkle.
Swimmers are poised to swim across the channel, with the winner flipping the switch to illuminate the area. The swim begins at 6 p.m. Nov. 24.
The lighting crew including Robert Mitchell, Timothy Carter, Stephen Samarin, Bruce Perrett, William Staib, Nathaniel Estrada, Megan Samarin and Geoffrey Blair, have been preparing the area for the lighting ceremony as excitement builds.
