Lake Havasu City
New Day School hosted a Thanksgiving feast for student’s families Wednesday morning. Staff and family members contributed to make this day come together.
All who attended enjoyed lunch with their kids and participated in the crafts and activities that the students have worked on throughout the month of November. RiverScene Magazine talked to several kids to learn what they are thankful for this year. See what some of them had to say!


Lyla: “I am thankful for giving mom and dad a hug.”

Lydia Kerns: “I am thankful for Nana.”

Mason Greenfield: “I am thankful for my birds.”

Hazel C. “I am thankful for “Frozen” movies.”



Ember Shultz: “I am thankful for mommy and Amilia and family.”
Hunter Zasadil: “I am thankful for riding my bike.”

Logan Stump: “I am thankful for family.”

Lorelei: “I am thankful for cupcakes.”
