More than 1,400 veterans are traveling from California to Washington, D.C. this week.
The veterans are on motorcycle heading to the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington, D.C. The Run for the Wall slogan is “Ride for those who can’t.”
Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, the veterans rode past the Lake Havasu City State Route 95 exit on Interstate 40.
Local veterans and military supporters stood on the Franconia exit overpass with flags and signs welcoming the motorcyclists as the rode through.
